Larry David Ryan

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Larry David Ryan- Age 63 of Marshalltown. He passed peacefully in his sleep at home beside the love of his life, Bonnie on Wednesday September 28th, 2016. Larry took great pride in his job as an auto body mechanic who has serviced the community for over 40 years. Larry was an avid car and truck enthusiast who loved to buy and restore his own old cars or trucks, it was his passion in life and he often talked about it endlessly. Larry was a son of the late Charles and Mae Ryan of Marshalltown. Leaving behind are his soul mate, Bonnie Adams; daughter, Crissy Ryan (Chris) step-daughter, Jodi Robicheau and two grandsons, Ryan and Jacob; brothers, Kenny (Lorraine); and Gerry both of Marshalltown; Raymond "Raymi" of Caledonia; sisters, Betty Jordan (Lovette “Bugs”)of Brighton; Phyllis Silver of North Range; Patty Russell of Digby and Kathy Chute (Tony) of Brighton; also several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Larry was predeceased by his beloved son Nicholas. A celebration of life will be 1pm, Wednesday October 5, from Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby. Pastor Chuck Daniels presiding. Donations in memory of Larry can be made to any charity involving car rallies or show and shine in the communities.
