John Archibald Jordan

Jordan, John Archibald age 80, of Marshalltown, passed away September 25, 2023 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Digby, he was a son of the late Archibald and Edna (Doucette) Jordan. He was a long time employee of E D Smith Company of Ontario before retiring and moving back home to Nova Scotia. He then took up as a hobby, building lighthouses and birdhouses, which he thoroughly enjoyed. John is survived by sisters Audrey (Earl) Morrell, Darlene Phillips, Annie Ackerson (Ron LeBlanc), Lorna (Joseph) Stewart, brothers Reid Jordan, Fred (Linda) Jordan, Keith (Cathy) Jordan, several nieces and nephews, special friends John and Andrea Hakim. He was predeceased by his wife Sheila, brother Roy Jordan, sisters Theresa Comeau, Jean McCormick, Sheila Comeau, Lillian Robicheau. Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Monday, Oct. 2, 2023 at Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby. Funeral service will be 2pm on Tuesday, Oct. 3 2023 at Jaynes Funeral Home, Digby. Father Raymond Odumuko will officiate with burial in Madonna Cemetery, Marshalltown. Donations in memory can be made to the charity of your choice.
