Martin, Irene Margaret age 90 of Tideview Terrace and formerly of Ashmore, Digby Co. passed away January 7, 2020 in Tideview Terrace. Born in Toronto, Ont. She was a daughter of the late Thomas and Agnes (Bayford) Tuppenny.
She was a member of the Salvation Army and enjoyed gardening, knitting, and doing crafts with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her son Donald (Deborah), Ashmore; grandchildren Karen Martin, Barbara Pearce, Shelly Plaxton, Julia Martin, Jacob Martin, great grandchildren Tristan, Taylor, Blake, Aliyah, Layla, Nicholas, and Emmit. She was predeceased by her husband Karl, daughter Gail, brothers Charlie and Cecil.
No visitation by request.
A Celebration of Irene’s life will be held at 1 pm, Wednesday, January 15, 2020 from Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch St. Digby.(902-245-2525). Rev.
