Debra Anne Amero Murphy

Murphy (Amero), Debra Anne – Age 62. We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who passed away October 30th, 2013 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. She was born in Marshalltown a daughter of Lucy (Melanson) Amero and the late Ronald Amero. Debra loved her family dearly and took much joy in time spent together, especially Christmas. She worked as a waitress at the Irving restaurant for 25 years. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Besides her mother, Debra is survived by husband, Gary Murphy, Culloden; daughters, Patricia (Glen) Oliver, Mount Pleasant; Kendra (Michael) Haight, Hillgrove; son, Curt (Tobilee), Weymouth; grandchildren, Raymond, Samantha, Kira, Kalynn, Kaleb, Desmond, Ezra, Amanda, Lori, Garnet, Emma, Amy, Abby; great-grandson, Hunter; brothers, Donald (Susan) Amero; Jeff Amero, Joey (Angela) Amero, John Amero; father in-law, Harold Murphy; several nieces and nephews. Besides her father, Debra was predeceased by mother in-law, Lucy (Coakley) Murphy. Arrangements have been entrusted to Jayne’s Funeral home, Digby (245-2525). As per Debra’s wishes, cremation has taken place with a private family gathering at a later date.
