David Starrs

Dave was born on February 20th, 1966; to Delores (Vaugeois) Starrs and Tom Starrs in White Rock, British Columbia.

Dave was predeceased by his wife Ruby Daley, his father Tom, his grandparents Emile and Eva (LeBlanc) Vaugeois, David and Eva (Thwaites) Starrs. Dave is survived by his mother Delores, sister Bernadette, uncle Charles Vaugeois, aunts Lorraine Vaugeois, Alice, Pat and Eva. Including numerous cousins and extended family members.

Dave had numerous friends, which were family, from Nova Scotia to British Columbia and beyond. There are so many to list, we would like to mention Chris and Joanna Barret, Sue Wagner and her family Candina Doucette, Morgan Hempen and the grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jesse, Savannah, Jacob and Blake.

He will also be greatly missed by his work family - Devin, Dustin, Julian, Suzette, Wanda, Sean, Darryl and his favorite Maxie.

Dave will be remembered for his kindness, infectious smile and a very huge heart. He leaves a void in our lives that we will feel for years to come. We were truly blessed by the short time we had him in our lives. Dave came into our lives when we needed someone the most. He helped pick up our broken pieces and was there to help us put "us" back together again piece by piece.

Thank you so much in helping us during our time of grief.

A visitation to celebrate Dave’s life will be held January 14th, 2023, 11 am - 1 pm. Jayne’s Funeral Home, 15 Birch St. Digby, NS. We appreciate Sue Wagner, his close friend in organizing this for us.

A Halifax service will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the local animal shelter, heart and stroke or to a charity of choice.
