Bremner, Daniel Sydney – Age 75, January 1, 1940 - January 13, 2015. Dan was a very avid hunter and fisherman. He was the provincial champion in the Bow Hunter Unlimited Class for 1989. He loved working on, sighting in and ‘dickering and dealing” in firearms for and with many friends over the years. Dan loved his coffee runs to Tims, “gum day” on the bus and he loved his bus runs because of the kids. Monthly dinners with his “Lodge Buddies” were made more special by Dan’s birthday cakes. He enjoyed knot tying with the kids at Barton School and building buggy trailers from scratch. He loved his family and spending time with them. Dan is survived by wife, Marilyn (Richardson) Bremner; daughters, Leslie (Ronald) Harris; Nikki (Kevin) Lewis; son, Danny (Nedra) Bremner; grandchildren, Sarah Harris (Hector), Allie (Merrill) Titus, Mitchell (Amber) Bremner, Brandon Sivret, Rylee Amon; great-grandchildren, Lyndi, Mattie, Parker; sisters, Patty (Cecil Lewis); half-sister Lorraine Dexter; brothers Reg, Larry (Gloria), Wayne (Joanne), Lovette (Juanita) and half-brother Louis Dexter. Dan was predeceased by parents, James and Lucy (Trimper) Bremner and grandson, Matthew Harris. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 Saturday, January 17th at Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby (245-2525).
