Carolyn always enjoyed having coffee with her neighbours, friends and especially her family. After raising four children, she later became a caregiver for both of her parents. Carolyn developed a passion for crafts. Many years ago, she began with art classes, as she enjoyed painting various sceneries, which later resulted in beautiful gifts for family and friends. She then moved on to quilting and knitting, always trying to keep pace with her sisters’ new patterns for sweaters and quilts. It was quite common to stop in for a coffee and leave with a new sweater or slippers. In most recent years, she enjoyed making Christmas crafts, with family and friends being the recipient of beautiful home made ornaments.
Carolyn is survived by daughter Andrea (Barry Watson), Halifax; sons, Lincoln (Paula) Meteghan, Lindsay (Charla) Yarmouth, Richard “Dickie” (Heather) Granville; sister Lavern (Wayne) Deep Brook; Brother-in-law Roy Waterman, 2 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; nieces Nicole, Karen and nephew Trinity. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth; sisters Donna and Carol.
