Arron Richard Colwell

Arron Colwell, of Weymouth, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. He was 77. Born on December 7, 1946, to the late Rex and Beulah (nee Ford) Colwell.

Arron was a strong, working man who owned his own company named Arron Colwell Logging. He was a kind-hearted man who loved the woods and doing things for people. In recent years he worked for King Transit. He drove a bus for 14 years and found great joy in washing and taking care of the buses every day. He was a member of the Church of Christ, in Weymouth and was an auxiliary RCMP for 14 years of his life. He was an amazing man, husband, brother, dad, uncle, and grandfather. Survived by devoted and loving wife Nora (nee Nickerson) Colwell of Weymouth.

Loved father of Tyler Colwell of South Range, Stacey Colwell (Melanie) of Bridgewater, and Narah Comstock (Kirk) of Bridgewater. Loved Stepfather of Jennifer Rogers (Kevin) of Shubenacadie and Marie Bezeau (Cory) of Hanover. Loved grandfather of Tyler’s children Ava, Zach, Cash and Sayer, Stacey’s children Ella and Luke, Narah’s children Ky and Indi, Jennifer’s child Elliot, and Marie’s children Tristan, Joshua, and Emma.

Remembered by his siblings Gary, Sharon, Donna, Sheila and Dale, and his half-brothers Arthur and Bruce. As well as remembered by many nieces, nephews, and their families. Predeceased by his grandson Richard and nephew Douglas.

Cremation has taken place, and a private graveside memorial and interment will be held for immediate family members at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Jayne’s Funeral Home,Digby.
