Amero, Anthony Brian – 67, a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother went to be with his Lord on October 29, 2024. He departed on a flight to heaven from room 204 in the Digby General Hospital with his family by his side. Anthony was born again on Aug 28,1967 and was a faithful brother and elder at the Weaver Settlement Gospel Hall. His life was lived for his Lord and Savior; he had a great love for the gospel and bringing others to his Saviors name. He spent his career working in the woods, scaling and buying pulp wood, grading lumber at the Irving Sawmill where he won top grader in many competitions, ran the CNC machine at Sissiboo Farm Supplies, telecommunications at the call centre. After retirement, his love for travelling took his career to delivering newspapers and collecting donations for the National Diabetes Association. Anthony was born in Weaver Settlement on Dec 9, 1956, to Gladys Amero and the late Clyde Amero Jr. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Lorraine Amero; children, Stephen (Loretta) Amero of Unity, SK, Mary (Calvin) Kleinsasser of Carberry, MB, Martha Amero of Calgary, AB, Philip (Charline) Amero of Salisbury, NB, Rachel (Patrick) Thibodeau of Nauwigewauk, NB, Lydia (Tony C) Amero of Halifax, NS, Shadrach (Candice) Amero of Portage Vale, NB, Joel (Augustine) Amero of Penobsquis, NB, and daughter of the heart Ellen (Luke) Thibault of Digby, his grandkids: (Mary) Landon, Zackery, Vennaya, Lila, Hailey, (Martha) Nakoa, (Philip) Jayla, Emma, Amelia, (Rachel) Avah, Micah, Isaiah, Levi, (Shadrach) Catherine, Jayden, Simon, (Ellen) Thibault, Calvin, Lenna; siblings, the late Larry (Judy) Amero, Wade (Shelley) Amero, Angela (Sam) Harnish, Darnell (Vickie) Amero, Rebecca (Brad) Peck, Loretta (Evan) Amero, Matthew (Cindy) Amero, Shannon (Billy) Milbury, Rhoda (Clifford) Hill, Tanya Amero, Shelley (Alex) Torres; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Clyde Amero Jr., brother Larry Amero, son John-David Amero, and grandson by heart, Aaron Thibault. Visitation 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 from the Weaver Settlement Gospel Hall, 6460 NS-340 Weymouth. Funeral Service will be 1 pm Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at the Havelock Wesleyan Church, 5507 NS-340 Weymouth. Mr. Scott Kaulback will officiate with burial at the Weaver Settlement Cemetery. Everyone is welcome to gather at the Weaver Settlement Gospel Hall following burial. Donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
