Gerald Edward Marshall, 67, of Dexter, MI died August, 31, 2013 from a brain bleed due to a fall.
Born June 24,1946 to late Evelyn and William Marshall at their home in Ann Arbor. He has lived in Dexter on the same farm since 1959. Gerry graduated from Dexter High school in 1964. He married his wife Susan (Talbot) Marshall in 1972. Gerry was a lineman for the phone company until he retired in 1997. He was also a farmer for many years on his farm. He then went to work for a landscaping company doing tree work. He fought a long battle with multiple myeloma since 2005. He is survived by sisters Jan Bergey and Pat Flinn; daughters Becky (Marshall) Geer, Sarah (Marshall) Schimelfening and Evelyn (Marshall) Rosentreter; also by 8 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother William Marshall and sister Elsie Bergey. Gerry was a member of Peace Lutheran Church of Ann Arbor.
