Michael James Hagerman

Michael James Hagerman age 46 died February 13, 2015. He was born October 23, 1968, in Bath, MI to James Milton and Susan Rae (Eschtruth) Hagerman. Michael honorably served in the US Army and was a veteran of Desert Storm. He was married 20 years to his high school sweetheart, Tawnya. He loved his pet beagles and leaves behind his “best friend” Jake. Michael was a water well driller, mechanic, and Jack of All Trades. He was an avid sportsman, fan of NASCAR (Dale Earnhart, Jr.), and U of M Wolverine fan. He was a friend to everyone, had a big heart, and loved to help all.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Donna Beth (Eschtruth), Jack Hagerman, Norma Jean Kelley, and Beatrice Ottinger.

Surviving are his wife, Tawnya (Mallory) Hagerman; his parents; his wife’s parents, Harry & Gail Mallory; sister, Lisa Hagerman (Darrick Ellis) and her children, Morgan and Anthony Cross; brother, Chris (Kate) Hagerman and their children, Colin and Evan; sister-in-law, Brandi Mallory, and her children, Faith and Aliah; and Faith’s son, Owin.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt, MI with Pastor Michael Geiger officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
