Harold was an avid sports fan including MSU and all Detroit teams. He loved playing cards with family and enjoyed his monthly Mt. Pleasant trips. Harold was a family man and enjoyed vacationing in northern Michigan particularly Pretty Lake. Harold worked in the grocery business for over 40 years. Sometimes taking on more than one job to make sure his family was well taken care of. Harold was not only a hard worker but took pride in doing a good job. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 55 years Glynneita (Purves) Moody, two brothers, Richard and John Robert, and two sisters, Theola Isanhart and Marilyn "Jeanne" Kalka. Harold is survived by his sons, Michael (Monica), Mark (Angie Kitzman), and Stephen. He is also survived by four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, brother James, five sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt, MI. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Catholic Community of St. Jude with visitation one hour prior.
