Dorothy M. Witt

Dorothy M. Witt, born May 23, 1937 to Carl and Auda (Powers) Spalding in Los Angeles, California, passed away January 28, 2013. Mrs. Witt was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed spending countless hours at any garage sale or flea market she could find. Always thoughtful, she never forgot a birthday or failed to send a thank you card. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay in 1976 and daughter, Judith Geiger in 1986. Surviving to cherish her memory are daughter, Grace (Del) Rose; son, Bill (Angie); grandchildren, Kristi Franklin, Michael Enderle, Steve Enderle, Becky Spangler, Andrea Geiger and Ben Witt; and 8 great-grandchildren. Her memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes DeWitt Chapel, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Wednesday February 6th from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
