Simone Castellano, 74 of Des Plaines was born October 28, 1942 in Italy and passed away suddenly November 30, 2016. Simone was the loving husband of Patricia A. (nee Tyska); adored father of Jennifer (Steven) Lantvit, Lisa (John) Honickel and Simonetta (Joe) Amerio; special papa of Alec, Alyssa, Isabella and Julianna; beloved son of Mary (nee Geraldi) and the late Antonino Castellano and dear brother of the late Antonino Castellano and Antonio Castellano. Memorial visitation Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 3-8 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street (Northwest Highway/Rt.14 at Rand Road) Des Plaines. Memorial mass will be Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Ransom Church, 8300 N. Greenwood Avenue, Niles. Interment will be private.
