Perfecto A. Fernandez Jr. of Des Plaines; beloved husband of Irene nee Junio; loving father of Aurora, Ferdinand, Irene, Perfecto III, and Michela Fernandez, Imelda Paguio, Cecilia Ajeda, and Karen Hlava; cherished grandfather of 22; fond brother to a sister and 4 brothers. Perfecto was born in the Philippines on January 5, 1933. He received a Master’s degree and was a teacher for over 20 years. He passed away at his residence on September 25, 2015 in Des Plaines. Visitation will be Monday, September 28, 2015 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St., Des Plaines, with a prayer service on Monday evening at 6:00 pm. Friends and family will gather at Oehler Funeral Home on Tuesday at 8:30 am for prayers prior to leaving for Our Lady of Ransom Church 8300 N Greenwood Ave. Niles for a 9:30 am mass. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines IL.
