Norman M. Gassman, 76 of Des Plaines was born October 15, 1947 in Chicago to Ruth and Sam Gassman and passed away December 9, 2023. Norm was the beloved husband of Nancy (nee DuLong); loving father of Alli (Mike) Doubek and Brandon Gassman; adoring grandfather of Jonathan, Evan, and Elia; brother of David (Patti) Gassman. The ultimate fan of the underdog, a pinnacle of generosity, hot dog connoisseur, and never without a smile, you could always find him in his formal attire of shorts and a t-shirt.
Open house memorial will be Saturday December 16, 2023 from 3-7pm at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL.
