Marilyn “Lynn” Rzeppa (nee Drake) of Schaumburg, formerly Northbrook, died peacefully on November 12, 2024 at the age of 91.
Beloved wife of the late Theodore and loving mother to Judith (Timothy) Loeffel, Robert, Paul (Sheryl) and the late Cynthia (Brian) Zimmer. She was a cherished grandmother to 15 grandchildren; a proud “GG” to her 9 great grandchildren and a dear friend to many. She is preceded in death by her parents (William and Emily) and siblings (Norbert and Elenor). Lynn will be remembered for her devotion to her family, love of bingo and sewing, and for famously singing “The Party’s Over” to end family gatherings.
Visitation for Marilyn will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Oehler Funeral Home (2099 Miner St. in Des Plaines). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Norbert Catholic Church (1809 Walters Ave. in Northbrook). In lieu of flowers, memorials to Misericordia in Marilyn’s memory would be greatly appreciated
