Joe Manuel Soberon

Joe M. Soberon, 89, of Morton Grove was born on October 18, 1932 to the late Manuel and the late Christina (nee Diaz) Soberon, and passed away on December 24, 2021. Joe was the beloved husband to Ana “Maggie” Soberon nee Piloto; loving father to Joseph (Lori) Soberon, Christine (Scott) Welninski, and Ruben (Dawn) Soberon; fond grandfather to Joseph (Sheena) Soberon, Samantha (Tim) Kleckner, Jason (Tracy) Soberon, and Steven (Rosa) Soberon; adored great grandfather to Logan, Chloe, Joseph, Alex, Anthony, Jack, and Lucas; dear brother to Betty (late Tony), the late Tomas (Aida), the late Frank (Tita), Jorge (late Carmen), Miguel, and Mary (Luis); and fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will be missed dearly.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 29 from 3-8 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. Des Plaines, IL 60016. Prayers will be said Thursday, December 30 at 10:45 AM at the funeral home and the process to Our Lady of Perpetual Help for the funeral mass at 11:30. Interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery.
