He was the beloved husband to Jae Sik Sung; loving father to Sheeyae (Jemin), Dan (Mary) Sung, and Erik Sung; dear grandfather to Haeran Lee, Haemi (Peter) Kwon, Haesu (Ben) Rodriguez, Allison Sung, Noah Sung, and Jacob Sung; and cherished great-grandfather to Ruby Rodriguez.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL 60016. A celebration of life service will be held Monday, April 8, 2024 at 6:00pm at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL 60016. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Swan Lake Chapel at Ridgewood Memorial Park, 9900 N Milwaukee Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60016, followed by a burial service at 11:45.
