Lucinda "Betty" Elizabeth Hayes

Lucinda "Betty" Elizabeth Hayes, 84, of Sulphur, passed into the arms of her Savior on Friday, October 25, 2019 at High Hope Care Center. She was born to her late parents, Manuel and Zadie Royer on August 27, 1935 in Ragley. She loved drinking coffee and taking her afternoon naps. Betty loved her family very much, and enjoyed spending time with them.

She is survived by her three daughters, Sondra Bielstein and husband Jo Ed of Eunice, Becky Thompson of DeQuincy, Tracy Rutz and husband Tom of Moss Bluff; one brother, Louis Royer of DeQuincy; 12 grandchildren; along with numerous great grandchildren.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey "Sunny" Allan Hayes, II; one son, Aubrey "Bobby" Allan Hayes, III; one daughter, Patricia Ann Hayes; along with two brothers, Delbert Royer and Tommy Royer.

Services will be held at 11:00am at New Hope Baptist Church in DeQuincy on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, with Bro. Roland Hebert officiating. Visitation will be at New Hope Baptist on Wednesday, beginning at 10:00am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery.
