Today Heaven has gained a precious angel and we have treasured memories as we say goodbye to you. Johnny enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and close family. He enjoyed his “boy toys” trucks, 4 wheelers and motorcycle. He made time for those important to him and took fun time to spend with his nephews, nieces and anyone else that was around. He enjoyed swimming with his son as he often did. He couldn’t get enough of mud riding or the joy of the wind in his hair as he rode his motorcycle.
He leaves behind his most prized possession, his son, Tyler Cole Blood of Westlake; his beloved Fiancée’, Jessica N. Langley of Westlake; mother and stepfather, Sandy (Istre) and Stephen Broussard of De Quincy; father and stepmother, John and Diana Fruge of Houston, TX; sisters, April Istre Owens and husband, Jarrod of De Quincy, Kayla Fruge and fiancé, Ben Brown of De Quincy; stepbrothers, Tyrel Touchstone and wife, Lori of Moss Bluff, Sean Singer of Lake Charles; grandmother, Fannie Harris Istre of De Quincy; nephews and nieces, Lane, Bayleigh, T.J., Gage, Kristen, Bubba, London and Paige. He leaves behind a host of aunts and uncles who love him and miss him very much, along with a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Milford Istre and grandparents, Edward and Doris Fruge.
Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2011 at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home. Rev. Harry Methvin will officiate. Interment will be in Perkins Cemetery in De Quincy. Visitation will be Sunday, 3-10 p.m. and will resume Monday at 8 a.m.
