Gregory "Greg" Lee Dill

Gregory "Greg" Lee Dill, passed away at the age of 59, peacefully on Friday, January 13, 2023 at his home in Denver, CO. He was born July 10, 1963 in Denver, CO to Arthur and Marie Dill. He was their only child. He was a quiet, loving son, father, and friend to many. Though he left this world far too soon, he left this world a better place.

Greg went to the local schools and lived in a neighborhood with great friends all around. He graduated from East High School in 1981 and attended Western State College in Gunnison, CO for a time considering Law Enforcement. Greg loved music and made working as a DJ his passion.

Greg was a talented Disk Jockey at the Turn of the Century Club in Denver, CO when it was open. He loved music and made working as a DJ his passion. He enjoyed dancing and listening to all kinds of 80's music. He would often ask his mother Marie to accompany him to the Club for some fun and dancing.

Greg was ever close to his parents, cousins, extended family and was there in 2003 when Art passed away to help Mom at the family home that she holds so dear. Greg was known for his enormous heart, love for his family and his listening ear. He was extremely passionate about the Denver Broncos and enjoyed all sports. Greg had a son, Andrew who survives him and was described as ‘just like Greg’ in many ways. Greg was a devoted Dad, diehard Bronco fan, a wonderful cook, a lover of his poodle, Jacques and a son of the highest order to Marie.

Although, he was a private and quiet person he was always willing to help and provide comfort and a listening ear to all who knew him. He had his own way of silent humor and show of his love for family and friends.

He leaves behind his loving mother Marie Lloyda (Cordova) Dill of Denver, CO, that loved him more than words can express. Son Andrew Lee Dill of Bismark, ND; he also leaves behind too many extended family members and friends to list around Colorado.

He is preceded in death by his loving father, the late Chief of Police, Denver County Arthur Gordon Dill.

A memorial service for Greg will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM followed by a reception both at Olinger Hampden Mortuary & Cemetery, 8600 East Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80231.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to Risen Christ Catholic Church, 3060 S. Monaco Pkwy, Denver, CO 80222.
