89, of Parker, passed away on March 10th. Gilbert was born in Canada to Samuel and Ernestine St. Laurent on April 27th. He got his citizenship in the United States, and became a proud American. He is preceded in death by a brother, and his beloved wife, Dorothy. He is survived by his 5 children, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends. Gilbert was an artist, he loved to draw and do ceramic work. He enjoyed fishing, and hanging out on his daughter's farm. He will be remembered as the man who was always there, helping his children through rites of passage and helping anyone in their time of need. He was described as an amazing person and will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 11am at Victorian House in Parker, Colorado. Gilbert will be laid to rest at Olinger Hampden Memorial Gardens.
