Willie Doc Dalton Chesser

The family will be at Bratcher Funeral Home for visitation from 6:00 – 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 13, 2012.

Funeral services will be held at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 14, 2012 with Rev. Jack Ball and Rev. Michael Daniel officiating. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Hwy. 50, Ladonia, TX 75449.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Abbot, William Chesser, Tommy Chesser, Jr., Norman Shelton, Tiddarious Battle and Jimmy Crittle.

Willie was born in Bonham, Texas on November 5, 1930, the son of William Henry Chesser and Leva Darling Chesser. He was a machine operator at the Cotton Mill in Denison; was of the Pentecostal faith; loved to fish, make people laugh, listen to his blue grass music and going to music shows.

He is survived by sons Dennis Chesser and Vickie Douglas of Denison, Harry Chesser of Bonham; daughter Pauline Chesser of Bonham; grandchildren Dennis Chesser, Jr., Cara Black, Melissa Chesser, Jennifer Chesser, William Chesser, Kirby Chesser and Rex Chesser; great-grandchildren Tiddarious Battle, Rodric Black, Deceray James and Essence James.
