The family will have a celebration of her life with prayer and scriptures at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Denison, Texas.
Debra was born in San Francisco, California on December 15, 1945 to Ferdinard J. Tihista III and Margaret Tihista. She worked at Johnson and Johnson for many years and enjoyed collecting angels.
She is survived by her husband Coy Thomas Powell of Denison, Texas; father Ferdinard J. Tihista Sr. of Watsonville, California; sons Gerald Mark Jaramillo Jr. of Watsonville, California, Jonathan T. Powell of Denison, Texas; daughter Tasha (Powell) McChargue of Sherman, Texas; 3 grandsons Nathaniel Powell of Princeton, Texas, Dustin McChargue of Denison, Texas, Andrew McChargue of Denison, Texas and nephew Jamus Tihista of Santa Cruz, California.
She is preceded in death by her mother, two brothers Ferdinand Tihista Jr, Peter Tihista and nephew Caleb Tihista.
