Alice Anne Krautter, age 89, of Denison, Texas passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020. Alice was born June 18, 1931 in Schenectady, New York to Emma and Edgar Ayers. Alice attended the Albany School of Nursing to fulfill her love of caring for people. Nursing was her passion and she worked tirelessly to ensure that her patients knew she cared about their wellbeing. Alice married Eugene Krautter on December 31, 1950.
Alice's adored buttons. She was a lifetime member of the National Button Society, Mayflower Society, and the DAR. Alice had a zest for life. She believed everyday was full of excitement and each day was a new adventure. Her Christian faith was very important to her as she shared her kindness with all she met. Alice's family deeply love her and will dearly miss her until that exciting day when they will meet again.
Alice is survived by son Paul Krautter M.D; daughter Louise Lively (Tom); and daughter-in-law Martha Dickinson; sister Adele Watry and brother Fred Ayers.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents and husband; son Frank Krautter, M.D. and granddaughter Carina Krautter.
Alice also leaves behind 17 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews to cherish her memory and excitement for life.
