Jose Reynoso de Anda, age 92, of Delano, California passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2002. Jose was born in Jalostotitlan, Jalisco, Mexico. Jose was one of eight children born to Calixto Reynso and Librada de Anda. Jose was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife and mother to his 5 children, Clementina Del Real de Reynoso (married 33 years), and all of his seven siblings. Being born 2 months premature, Jose's fighting spirit and will to live was demonstrated from day one to his last day on earth.
Jose is survived by his five children (spouses) : Patricia Barajas (Sergio), Martha Martinez (Juan), Jorge Reynoso (Adriana), Leticia Corona (Adrian) and Ruth Leon (John), 16 grandchildren, and his second wife, Maria Guadalupe Gonzalez de Reynoso (married 20 years).
In 1978, Jose and his family moved to San Jose, California from Aguascalientes, Mexico in pursuit of better opportunities and the promise of a better future for his family. Through Jose’s hardwork and dedication to his family, his entire family prospered and learned from his example of determination. No one can ask for a better role model. Jose was the greatest family patriarch known to man. He made family his priority, always.
Jose’s personality was fun and loving. Known for his jokes and quick witted comments, one of Jose’s well known phrases “Todo Bajo Control” will live on with everyone that has had the pleasure of his company. “Todo Bajo Control” is a true testament to Jose’s easy going and charismatic personality that will be sorely missed.
