Dolores Tober Romero

Dolores was born in Kauffman, Texas, to Enrique and Elisa Tober, on October 4, 1940. She married Esteban on July 9, 1983, in Sanger, California, and had 6 beautiful children, who were the most important part of her life.

She was a devoted wife and mother, who loved adventure. She enjoyed the beach, especially Morro Bay. She loved tending to her flowers, plants, birds, and chickens. She had a deep love for the color lavender and anything purple. She gained so much joy from playing bingo and loteria at the community center and socializing at the commodities. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her family more than anything. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her best.

She is preceded in death by her father, Enrique aka Chico, mother, Elisa, sister, Concepcion, and brothers, Luciano and Joe.

Dolores is survived by her husband, Esteban, her six children, Justo married to Donna, Enedina married to Mauricio, Fabian married to Danies, Delfina married to Oliver, Elisa married to Miguel, Esteban Jr., 24 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on August 10th, at 12:00 pm, at Delano Mortury, at 707 Browning Road, Delano, CA. 93215. The burial service will be held on August 11th, at 10:00 am, at North Kern District Cemetery at 627 Austin Street, Delano, CA. 93215.
