Robert (Bob) Reaves went peacefully to meet his heavenly father on July 17th, 2021 at the age of 79. He was born in Fresno, California to Ezekiel and Babe Reaves. Bob served three years in the US Army, stationed at Fort Ord, California as a radio repair man. Shortly after leaving the Army, he met his loving wife, Judy, and her two sons, Hank and Jimmy. After marrying, they had a daughter, Lorrie. Once relocating from California to Oklahoma City, Bob took no time showing his love by adopting the two boys. He became a member of Sheet Metal Local 124, where he worked for over 30 years, mostly for Matherly Mechanical. Bob loved cooking on the grill, fishing, golfing and entertaining others with his special gifts, singing and playing the guitar. Bob wrote several songs and was in a bluegrass band, Lightnin' Creek, for over 10 years. But of all things he loved, he loved to travel with his wife. They travelled to all 50 States, and had been on 39 cruises and were looking forward to taking a 40th. He is survived by his wife, Judy Reaves of Moore; son, Hank Reaves and his wife Rhonda of Oklahoma City; son, Jimmy Reaves and wife Carla of North Carolina; daughter, Lorrie and husband Robert of Chickasha; grandkids Zac Reaves, Matt Reaves, Corey Bennett, Jennifer Richardson, Brian Buckner, Jessica Vasquez, and Karley Buckner; and 13 great-grandkids.
