She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Central State University now The University of Central Oklahoma. She was a lifelong Cowboys fan and member of The Central Avenue Church of Christ. She loved to waterski, go fishing, and spend time with family and friends. She left this world on May 8th, 2024, a better place than she found it.
Phyllis is survived by her sons, Timothy and Jason Murry; grandchildren, Justin, Ketner, and Tristan Murry; sister, Linda Carroll, as well as numerous other extended family members and friends.
A viewing will be held on Friday, May 17th, 2024, from 4-8 p.m. at the Sunnylane Funeral Home in Del City. Jack Grimes will officiate her service on Saturday, May 18th, 2024, at the Sunnylane Funeral Home in Del City, where she will be laid to rest with her parents and reunited with the Lord. There will be a reception at the Central Avenue Church of Christ located at 2000 Central Avenue Oklahoma City, following the service.
