Paul Lavin Smith

Upon retirement from the Air Force he had a brief career in real estate. He then went to college and obtained a teaching degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. A Midwest City resident, Paul was extremely proud to then begin teaching distributive education at Midwest City High School for ten years.

He is survived by his son Dan, Daughter-in-law Karen, and granddaughters: Stephanie and Carly. The love of his life, his bride Mary died in 2007 after 48 years of marriage.

Paul enjoyed golf, playing cards, and watching the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. He and the love of his life Mary loved nothing more than watching their Granddaughters play soccer and volleyball.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 12, 2013 at Saint Philip Neri Catholic Church in Midwest City, OK with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
