Norma (Webb) Narramore, 86, of Oklahoma City passed away June 29, 2023. She was born on March 17, 2023 to Roy and Ollie Webb in Brockwell, AR. Norma is survived by her son, James Narramore, Sr and wife, Sue Laws of Oklahoma City; her grandson, James Narramore, Jr and wife, Julia of Norman, OK; two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Angel Narramore of Norman, OK; and daughter-n-law Vicki Narramore of Midwest City, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Narramore; her parents; a son, Richard Narramore; two sisters, Carolyn Webb and Lucille (Pat) Howe; and one brother, Norman (Pete) Webb. Norma met her husband, Lee Roy, in church and they were married at Texas Baptist Church in Newalla, OK on May 28, 1965. Norma worked at Presbyterian Hospital in Central Supply and enjoyed working there in her early years of marriage. Later, she joined her husband for a year on the road of shipping Garden Club products by truck. She had many tales of her travels of living on the highway, and was glad when that year came to an end. She and Lee Roy served at the local Salvation Army during the week helping to serve meals to do what they could to help others. After her husband passed away, Norma had to find work. She began a new career as a Greeter for Walmart. She loved her job and enjoyed greeting and assisting customers each day. She retired in 2016 after 15 years of service when her health caused her to terminate. She had many stories to tell and managed to bring home a sack or two each day from work. Norma loved the Lord and reading the Bible, watching TV, especially the early westerns, shopping, and before her health declined she enjoyed making purses by hand. Norma took up residence at the South Pointe Rehab and Care Center in Oklahoma City, in February of 2021. She made new friends, and enjoyed her “job” of notifying the staff when a patient’s room light would come on. She was always busy rolling down the halls, saying hello, and talking to whoever would listen. Her family is very appreciative of the doctors, nurses, and staff that have been so kind and caring to her. A graveside service will be held at the Maysville Cemetery, Maysville, OK on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
