Mary Francis Sutton

Mary Francis Sutton passed away on November 1, 2018 in Oklahoma City. She was born on April 30, 1937 to Jack and Carolyn (Barefoot) Ryan in St. John, Newfoundland. Mary was the third oldest out of 11 children.

While visiting her sister, Shirley, in Germany, Mary met Joseph James Sutton while he was stationed there in the Air Force. They were married soon thereafter, and moved around a lot with the Air Force. They moved to the Del City area in 1974, and have lived here ever since with their 3 sons, Joseph, Michael and James.

Mary loved to bowl, and she bowled at least 2 nights a week for her entire adult life. She was a devout Catholic, and attended St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Tinker Air Force Base Chapel.

She is survived by her 3 sons, Joe, Michael, and James (wife Debbie); grandchildren, Madison Reihs (husband Cody), Alexis Sutton, Jessica Doty (husband Mike), Christopher Sutton, Nicholas Sutton, Kaitlin Sutton, Melissa Sutton, Samantha Sutton, David Griczin Jr, and Ryan Golladay; great-grandchildren, James Doty, Matthew Doty, and Bridget Layton; and siblings, Bette Jackman, Diane Emberley, William Ryan, Robert Ryan, and Carol Ann Sparkes.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm Monday, November 12, 2018 at the Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Del City.
