She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Burrows, sons Tommy W. and Rodney K. and her Father and Mother, Roy and Ruby Blackburn. She is the last of 5 brothers and 3 sisters to leave this earth.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Pati Thompson, Grandson Christopher Thompson and Granddaughter Christin “Mendi” Preston. Grandchildren Hunter Preston, Blake Preston, Rylee Preston, Mia Thompson and Connor Thompson. Grand In-laws David Preston and Karina Thompson.
Mary devoted her life to caring for children in her home for 50 plus years. She had the first License in home child care in Midwest City. She and her dear friend, Betty Greer, raised many children as well as their own grandchildren. Mary always enjoyed children coming back to visit her over the years.
Mary was a member of Sooner Baptist Church in Midwest City.
Mary never met a stranger. She was always willing to help someone in need. Mary will forever hold a special place in many hearts.
