Delmar Clinton Marsh, 76, of Del City, went home to be with The Lord on November 4, 2010. He was born in Topeka, Kansas on October 2, 1934 to Charles Clinton Marsh and Gladys Vanita Williams Marsh. A graduate of Topeka High School in 1952, he attended Washburn University, majoring in Psychology, before being drafted into the U.S. Army. He relocated to Del City in 1967 where he served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves and was also employed as a Civil Service Member in Logistics at Tinker AFB for 32 years. His smile and sense of humor would shine in his often memorable quotes such as, “It’s hard to soar with the eagles when you’re stuck on the ground with a bunch of turkeys.” He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 30 years, Betty Jean Marsh and his brother, Donald Eugene Marsh. He is survived by his children, Roy Mullen of Harrah, OK, Leta Swindell of Oklahoma City, OK, Joe Fleming of Florissant, MO, Clint DeLange of Denton, TX, Janice Clawson of Moore, OK, Tracy Brimer of Denison, TX, 10 Grandchildren, and 13 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 7 p.m. on Tuesday November 9, 2010 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home in Del City and Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at SunnyLane Southern Baptist Church in Del City.
