David R. Belew, age 69, passed away on February 19, 2023, in Del City, OK. A veteran of the United States Army, David retired from Tinker Air Force Base in 2009. He enjoyed spending time with his family, spoiling his grandchildren, and playing VGT games.
David is survived by his wife, Glenna Jo Belew, of Del City; his daughter Dannielle Dosher and son-in-law Jason Dosher of Southwest OKC; his son Matthew Garton of Austin, TX; son Steven Yates and daughter-in-law Brandee Yates of Mustang, OK. Dear to David’s heart were his grandchildren, Callie Dosher, Casey Yates, and Henley Yates. Very special family members were Jim and Louise Hyman; Kenny and Samie Wythe; Lisa and Jim Martin; Curtis and Dawn Wythe; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. David is also survived by three brothers, Jimmy and Ruth Belew of New Bergen, NC; Mike and Robin Belew of Blanchard, OK; and Gary and Patty Belew of Mustang, OK.
David was preceded in death by his parents, James T. Belew and Dorothy Belew of Del City, OK, brother-in-law James Robert Wythe, and sister-in-law Sandra Wythe.
Services are pending in Lehigh, OK.
