Dana Richard Dodson 47, of Oklahoma City, OK. passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2011. He was born November 10, 1963 in Midwest City, OK. to O.E. “Okie” Dodson and Jo Anna (Foster) Dodson. Dana grew up in Del City and graduated from Del City High School in 1982. He went to work at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home in 1984. In 1987 Dana joined the US Army, after his discharge he went to Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and graduated in the class of 1990. He also worked at several funeral homes in the Oklahoma City area. Dana was loved dearly by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his mother Jo Anna, 2 brothers; David and Dennis. 1 sister; Jo Hartman. Shawn Adams best friend in life. 3 Nieces; Tawnya, Emily and Meghanne. Preceded in death by his father.
Funeral Services will be 4:00 pm, Friday, July 1, 2011 at Sunnylane United Methodist Church. Graveside Services will be at a later date in Ft. Sill National Cemetery.
