Clara Barbara Black

Clara Barbara Black, age 69, of Midwest City, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. She was born on December 20, 1953 in Philadelphia, PA to Sidney and Clara Park. She worked in customer service at Brannon's grocery store for many years. Clara was so fun to be around, and was the life of the party. She loved to play Bingo, go to the casino, watch the Price is Right, watch OU football with Kenny on Saturdays, and hang out with the family and cookout.

She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. One of her proudest moments was when her great-granddaughter entered this world, and she was able to show her mother that they had 5 generations together when she was born.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Clara Park; husband Kenneth Black; son Kenneth Joe Black; and brother Chris Park.

She is survived by her daughter Christy Faires; grandchildren Mandy Rogers and Cory Rogers; great-granddaughter Mindy Darling; and siblings Beau Park, Andrew Park, Thomas Park, Phillip Park, Theresa Johnson, Rita Yates, and Paul Park.

A visitation for Clara will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 5005 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115. A funeral service will occur at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home.
