Charles E. Graf Sr.

In loving memory of Charles E. Graf Sr. Charles was born in Pittsburg, PA to Fred and Dorothy Graf on August 26, 1930. He joined the Marine Corps at the age of 17 and proudly served in the Korean War. After returning from the war he transferred into the United States Air Force and was stationed at Tinker Air Force Base where he later retired. Charles married the love of his life, Verna Martin, in 1955 and together they had six children. Charles graduated from Oklahoma Christian University with a Bachelors of Arts in Theology in 1977. Eventually they made their home in Midwest City until Charles moved into the Veterans Center in 1982. Charles was a faithful member of the Church of Christ for more than 50 years. He loved the Lord with his whole heart and has since been welcomed into heaven by many family members and loved ones. Charles is preceded in death by his wife, Verna, both parents, daughter Pamela and his grandson Jeffrey. He is survived by his daughters: Diana McKinney of Midwest City, Deborah Ballantine and husband Jeff of Bethany, Elizabeth Council and husband Jeff of Yukon, Kathy Bullard of Midwest City, son Charles Graf Jr and wife Patty of Yukon as well as 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
