John H. Blesi (Jack) 69 of Deerfield Beach,FL passed away Jan. 2, 2016. He was born in Dayton, Ohio April 13,1946. Jack graduated from Kettering Fairmont High School and attended the University of Cincinnati studying architecture and graphic design. He found the beauty of nature and linear design in all he observed, always appreciating and eloquently expressing it. Mr. Blesi had a life long passion for classic automobiles especially the Packard. He belonged to several Packard clubs and enjoyed showing his collection over the years.
After twenty years of service, he retired from the Broward County Sheriffs Department as a building code enforcer. Jack's family, friends, and companion dog Melody were always his priority as well as caring for those less fortunate.
He is preceded in death by his lovely mother Phyllis and father John E. Blesi He is survived by his loving sisters Joan Allen and Marilyn Duffy (Mike), a nephew Rob Hanna, and nieces Kristi George, Laurie Duffy Hurst, Megan Duffy, and great niece Catherine George. We wish to give special thanks to his steadfast friends Marlene, Patti, and Addie along with the caregivers of VIP Care Pavilion. Private services will be held in Dayton, Ohio. Donations in Jack's name can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
