Frank is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Sallie and Joe Joyce of Yonkers, NY; his girlfriend, Arlene LaHera of Port St. Lucie, FL; his nephew Peter Joyce of Yonkers, NY; his niece and niece-in-law Alisa and Taylor Halliday of Boston, MA; and many loving extended family and friends around the globe. Frank is preceded in death by his parents Frank A. and Mary A. Mancini.
Frank was born on November 8, 1946 in Yonkers, NY. He graduated from the University of Hartford with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He spent many years living on Martha’s Vineyard and frequently returned after moving away to spend time there. Frank followed his dream of owning and managing a Northern Italian Restaurant on the island of St. John called Paradiso, which was his favorite job and a wonderful time in his life.
Frank was an accomplished fisherman and often chartered boats with friends and family to go on fishing excursions around the country. He was a kind and generous individual who loved traveling, live music, especially James Taylor, good food, and adventure, and who was passionate about bringing people together and helping people.
Frank had a strong faith that carried him throughout his life and we would like to thank all of his family and friends for their support and prayers.
A Celebration of Life will occur in the near future in Deerfield Beach, FL and in the spring on Martha’s Vineyard, MA. A virtual Memorial Service will take place in the coming weeks. All are welcome to attend the virtual service and celebrate Frank’s life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Ocean Conservancy at https://donate.oceanconservancy.org/. The family would like to thank the Delray Medical Center ICU and Hospice for their outstanding efforts and care.
