Rosario Rivera, age 93, of Bay Shore, New York passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Rosario was born January 4, 1929. He was an avid New York Yankees fan and a true green thumb, dedicating much time to his lawn and attending to his colorful and blooming garden of colorful flowers and plants. Everyone loved his homegrown, tomatoes, cucumbers and corn, especially the squirrels.
A visitation for Rosario will be held Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at Claude R. Boyd/Caratozzolo Funeral Home, 1785 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, New York 11729. A funeral service will occur Monday, January 31, 2022 at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, New York 11933.
