Anne is predeceased by her loving husband Bill, her parents Anastasia (Fexas) and John Kois, and her brother Dean. She is survived by her beloved children William "Billy" Tyler and Stacey Battista. Cherished Nene to her Grandchildren Melissa (Abdullah), Jennifer (Corey) and Christopher. Adored Big Nene to her Great Grandaughter Sophia. Loved by her many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Anne is a native of Brooklyn, NY graduating from New Utrecht High School in 1947, majoring in bookkeeping. Upon graduation she began working at International Paper Company in New York City. She went on to work as a secretary for the Federal Reserve. Anne loved traveling and taking cruises. She was politically active and a feminist before the term existed. Anne watched financial shows and followed the stock market daily. She met Bill Tyler, the boy next door, in the summer of 1957. They were engaged by Christmas 1957, and married on June 8, 1958. Anne was a homemaker for the next 25 years before returning to the work force at Communication Paper Company, as a Proof-reader, in Melville, NY. She loved to sing, and entertained family and friends at weddings and parties over the years. Anne loved traveling especially to Los Angeles and Palm Springs, California to visit a myriad of friends. She enjoyed playing slot machines in Atlantic City and Las Vegas. Her love of game shows was recognized when Bill won the Showcase on The Price Is Right in October, 1983. She retired after 15 years with Communication Paper Company. Anne enjoyed watching Jeopardy and Wheel Of Fortune, often shouting out the correct answer before the contestants. Her love of Sitcoms especially the Golden Girls and Everybody Loves Raymond was a nighttime pastime. However, it was spending time with her family that brought her the most joy. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
