Funeral for Terry Dwight Wells, 65, of Decatur will be Saturday, February 11, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with Mark Posey officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Wells, who died Monday, February 6, 2012, at his home, was born October 2, 1946, in Huntsville to Fred Hayes Wells and Virginia Mae Wells. He worked in fast food management. He enjoyed coaching baseball, playing golf and playing cards with his family. His father, Fred Hayes Wells, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Teresa Richardson Wells; two sons, Michael "Cody" Wells (Lezlie) of Sheffield and Cory Lee Wells (Kelley) of Decatur; one daughter, Shauna Wells Franklin (Terry) of Hanoi, Vietnam; mother, Virginia Mae Wells of Huntsville; three brothers, Johnny Wells, Phillip Wells and Ricky Wells, all of Huntsville; one sister, Sherry Yarbrough of Meridianville; and grandchild, Dillon James Franklin.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Richardson, Roger Richardson, Barry Richardson, Milton Casteel, Charles Williams and Glenn Hodges.
