She was preceded in death by her loving mother; her grandparents, Elizabeth and Edwin Abel, Richard and Annie Sparkman, and step-grandmother, Martha Sparkman.
She is survived by her devoted father; by two sisters, Cristina Sparkman and Kim Sparkman LaBarbera and husband, Nick; one brother, Brandon Sparkman and wife, Shelli; nephews, Nicholas, Ryan, Preston and Jude; one niece, Kylie; her uncles, aunts, cousins and friends whom she loved dearly, and especially her beloved and precious baby dog, Templar.
A visitation for Shannon will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Roselawn Funeral Home, 741 Danville Rd SW, Decatur, Alabama 35601, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery.
