Ethel Jean Parker Bogle, loving mother, memaw, and sister was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 16, 2016 at her home USA Decatur Health and Rehab. She lived to be 82 years young. Ethel was born December 5, 1933 in Courtland, Alabama to the late Thomas C. and Sabra L. Parker.
She is survived by her sister: Mary Clark Glasser of Diamondhead, Mississippi, her sons: McCoy W. “Jocko” Bogle, Jr. (Tammy), and Anthony Jason Bogle (Jennifer) all of Decatur, Alabama, her grandchildren: Laramie Winn Harned of Southaven, Mississippi, Derek Alan Harned (Paige) of Richmond, Missouri, and Kasey Devring Bogle of Decatur, Alabama as well as her great-grandchildren: Ayden Thomas Harned, Hunter Eugene Harned and Gannon Elias Harned all of Richmond, Missouri. She also had a loving extended family through her friends and caregivers at USA Decatur Health and Rehab and Comfort Care Hospice.
Ethel was filled with love for all who have crossed her path. She loved gardening, playing Bingo with her friends, coloring and watching the birds in her spare time. She adored time spent with her loved ones and her many friends that stopped by. Ethel is accompanied in Heaven by her beloved daughter: Johnna Gaye Harned, her brothers: W.T. Parker, W.I. Parker, Winford Parker, and her sisters: Agnes Letson and Margaret P. Reeves.
