Fair, William "Bill", age 85, of Beavercreek, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2015. He was born March 6, 1929 in Sharpsburg, KY to Robert H. and Ada Lee (Jewell) Fair, who preceded him in death. Bill was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Ruth in 2012, his grandson, James Fair and 8 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Brenda Fair; two daughters and a son-in-law, Pat Fair, Sheila and Virgil Norman; grandchildren, Nicole (Dave) Wagstrom, Jessica Fair, Zach Norman, Tara (Tim) Garrett; great -grandchildren, Malia, Xavier, Olivia, Makenna, Makayla, Jason, Sean, Evan and Nick. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was a member of Beaver Valley Lodge #753 F.& A.M., Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton and was a member of the Baptist Faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict and was retired from N.C.R. and General Motors. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road with Pastor Jerry Siler officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2015.
