THOMASON, Ward Jr., age 83 of Riverside, joined his wife Mary on Thursday, September 6, 2012 after only 6 and a half months of separation in the last 65 years. He is also preceded in death by his parents, Ward Sr. and Frances Thomason and several step-brothers and step-sisters. He is survived by his son, Michael Wayne Thomason; daughters, Tammy Lynn Thomason, Debbie Kennison; grandson, Jason Kennison, great-grandson Jason Kennison II and several precious cats who loved him and will miss “Pa” dearly. Ward was an active member at Spinning Rd. Baptist Church, a retiree from WPAFB, and a faithful morning shopper at Kroger on Burkhardt Rd. The family wishes to thank all the caregivers at MVH, First Dayton Cancer Care, and Dayton Cancer Center for their support the last few months. A memorial visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME - BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia RD at Grange Hall RD.
