Vel Kenny, 80, passed away on Friday Sept 1, 2023. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald, and sister, Margie Sexton, of Middlesboro, Ky. She is survived by daughter, Donna Kenny, of Huber Heights; sister-in-law Beverly Kenny, of Columbus; nephews Daniel Kenny of New Carlise, and James “Butch” Kenny of Bellbrook and other numerous nieces and nephews. Donna would like to extend her gratitude to Vel’s friends and neighbors for all the kindness and support for the past 50 years and especially these last few years. She cherished their friendship. A special thank you to Judy, Sue, Mae and Alan, Sue and Tom, Gary and Sandy, and CeCe.
A visitation for Vel will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. A prayer service will occur Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 12:30 PM, 3970 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. A burial will occur Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Calvary Cemetery, 1625 Calvary Dr., Dayton, Ohio 45409.
