Treva L. Engle

Engle, Treva L., age 87 of Dayton passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at her home, following a lengthy illness. Preceded in death by her husband Donald L. Engle; parents Carl and Mary Bleininger; and siblings Carl Bleininger Jr. and Thelma Day. Survived by son Donald L. Engle Jr. of Vandalia; daughters Kathy (Gary) Hinch of Dayton and Janie Flora of Springfield; sisters Myrtle Bleininger and Francis (Howard) Schumacher; grandchildren Tammy (Alan) Petzoldt, Melissa (Don) Shepherd, and Chad Smith; and great-grandchildren Allyson, Madison, and Andy. Treva was a long-time member of Belmont United Methodist Church and enjoyed singing in the church choir and going out to dinner with her friends. She worked for many years as a customer service representative at Winter’s National Bank (Bank One) until her retirement in 1990. Funeral Service will be 11:30am, Monday, June 6, 2016 at Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10am until the time of service.
